The sites tested were based on the top 50 New Zealand sites on Nielsen Netratings and also chucked in a few other NZ sites. From there performing a site search in Google for each of these sites enables us to get the Top 10 New Zealand sites indexed by Google.

Along side search results, some of the Google AdWords headlines are pushing the boundries for the headline character limit. In the image below for the 28 character search “Website Development Services” the ads running keyword insertion are able to push the 25 character headline limit.

Number of pages indexed in the different search engines
